Bland tasting. After eating I was sick for a few hours. Rice was like cut up pieces of sponge in water. Definitely would not return for a second time.
Pretty good selection. Most items were just the right temp for buffet eating. Didn't have to wait to long for drinks.. Staff very friendly.
My husband and I have in the past eaten here and have always been satisfied with the food. The food again wonderful, but this time I took my daughter and new grand-baby for lunch ( 3 months old). The service was beyond the most crappy service we have gotten. Not only did my wonton soup take 20 minutes but the couple that came in about 15 after we ordered received their meal 1 minute after my soup was a slap in the face. I ordered a coffee and the cream was sour, waited 10 minutes before anyone came around to check on anything ( only to find out she had her baby there and was the only one working. I am not mean, I understand things happen, but when there is another older lady waitress, there was no reason for this poor service, there was a total of 3 tables to serve. Considering the bad service we got I opted not to leave a tip ( I regularly leave 10% or more) and when I did so paying the bill the older waitress was extremely rude. Like I owed them a tip or something. News flash a tip is when service is given, not a obligation. I live in the area and try my best to support local business, but when the business treats me the way this place has, they got the last dollar from us. Such a shame, I love supporting our area.
The food at diamond willow is decent, but I find that the one older lady who works there is absolutely phenomenal. She almost always remembers my wife and I when we come and she always greets with a smile. DW also had some very nice renovations done so the establishment doesn't look too shabby at all.
Ordered the combo 1a and substituted sweet and sour pork for the spring roll for 3 bucks. The portions are huge and good. The chop suey is chop suey instead of steam veggies all the other places around here try to pass off. This picture is after I've been eating for awhile. This is just a combo. I'll be back. Wish I had discovered them sooner.
